ADVOCACY

The Chamber accomplishes collectively what no business can do alone. The Chamber’s primary role is advocacy. It represents its membership on issues affecting business and the community including the provincial, federal and municipal budgets, economic development issues, infrastructure and transportation issues, and other areas that affect the members’ ability to grow and prosper.

These tools include access to the Canadian Chamber Group Insurance Plan, attractive credit and debit card discounts through First Data and a variety of opportunities to promote one’s business.

RESOURCE

Resource is another key service provided by the Chamber. For our membership and the public at large, we are seen as a hub for resources and an ambassador of the community. We are the conduit for information to keep the public up to date or promote community interest events and news.

NETWORKING

The Chamber is also committed to providing networking opportunities for its members to enable them to grow their businesses by making valuable contacts with other members of the business community. People do business with people.
